finn would be saying the same, wouldn't he?
h2no: (is that a fucking gremlin)

a fine line between hope and denial, for sure.
at any rate, i don't believe telling you otherwise would benefit anyone involved.
there's enough misery here.

even more so in yourself than other people
just over two years
you?
h2no: (thumbz up)

[personal profile] h2no 2019-04-20 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
depends on the topic
i'm not smart enough to have general advice.

are you likely to run after big monsters for people you don't know?
serious question. not sarcastic.

you'd be surprised how people will do that anyway. i've done that!
anyway, it's relatively easy to avoid stuff when it goes down, as big as the scope of most stuff is it only ultimately affects one porter city at a time. it's easy enough to avoid if you try.
if you need protection, then there's plenty of import groups to reach out to.

i don't blame you.
you learn to judge how to avoid trouble quickly-- next time something happens i can shoot you the safe zones when it's available? aegis tends to get it pretty quick.

yeah, i'm one of the agents
mostly joined up to try and figure out what i'm doing with my life here
if that's a problem then... fair enough? i won't bring it up again
h2no: (hey now... hey)

extremely
that's one thing about being here so long, actually
you don't know when you'll go so long term things feel pointless but then you skate along for a couple years and suddenly you're older and have nothing going for you
double so if your skillset doesn't entirely translate to this world
h2no: (ummm....)

[meanwhile, archie is just thinking of his big stupid animals.]

do the big stuff regardless. just be more mindful of contingencies than you usually would be.

are you better at mental or physical activity?

learning an instrument comes to mind
something artistic, learn to draw, paint, knit, create anything
maybe try writing fiction or non-fiction if you prefer hard facts
catch up with the technology here
photography, cooking, gardening
there's a lot that's very easily accessible here
